Knokd is a virtual door knocking platform that allows buyers to handpick and express interest in off-market properties. Once a Knok is created, Knokd automatically generates a personalized mailer and sends it to the property owner.

Is Knokd a for sale by owner platform?

No, Knokd buyers are pre-qualified and work with one of our partner agents. Homeowners can choose if they’d like to engage  representation or work on their own.

Why use Knokd?

Our buyers want to take control of their property search and are tired of passively waiting for the right home to hit to market.

How much does it cost?

Knokd is free to use for buyers and homeowners. At the moment, Knokd is offered exclusively through our partner agents and brokerages.

How do I sign up for Knokd?

Which homes should I Knok?

Knok any property that interests you! Homes you Knok should meet your locational criteria and appeal to you “from the curb”. 

Can my agent join Knokd?

Yes! If you are currently working with an agent and you’d like to invite them to Knokd, you can fill out this form and we’ll get in touch with them directly.

Is there any obligation once I Knok a house?

No, a Knok is simply an expression of interest. If the homeowner replies, you’ll have a dialogue with them to learn more about the home and selling details. If all goes well, you can set up a showing and take it from there.

I've received a Knok, now what?

Congrats! A qualified buyer is interested in your home. Knokd buyers take their search seriously and have specific locational preferences. If you’re thinking of selling in the next 12 months, you have nothing to lose in chatting with this buyer.

Is there any obligation once I respond to a Knok?

No, there is no obligation to arrange a showing once you respond to a Knok. We suggest discussing the specifics of your home with the buyer to determine if a showing is appropriate.

How do I qualify the buyer for my house?

In replying to the buyer, we suggest you provide more information about the size, layout, and updates done to your home to help further qualify the buyer and determine if a showing is appropriate.

How do we determine a fair price for my home?

Knokd buyers are expecting to pay a fair price for an off-market opportunity. If you need help pricing your home, the buyer’s agent can present comparable sales from your neighbourhood. You may also choose to have an appraisal completed or engage your own representation.

What happens when an owner responds?

Your buyer will be thrilled! Try to set up a showing. If the home doesn’t suit your client after all, find out if you can assist the homeowner with any other needs. 

When should I invite clients to Knokd?

Knokd delivers value throughout the entire life cycle of homeownership. Once your client moves into a new home, they can claim their address and you will both receive Knoks directly in the app.
